Silvai Antenna

Antenova's Silvai ceramic antenna measures a mere 1 mm x 0.5 mm x 0.5 mm and fits on PCBs as small as 60 mm x 30 mm with a clearance of 30 mm x 11.5 mm. It is low cost with high efficiency, offering average efficiency ranges from 55% on 863 MHz to 870 MHz to 70% on 902 MHz to 928 MHz bands. This ISM ceramic antenna is designed for a long range. It features a novel trace design that improves reception and extends the range.

Silvai uses an innovative antenna trace to obtain high efficiency. This extends the range compared to other antennas with lower efficiency. It is designed to operate with all ISM modules such as LoRa transceivers and provides good coverage area for wireless sensor networks.

Silvai is structurally smaller than any of Antenova’s other ISM antennas but provides improved performance on 868 MHz to 915 MHz bands. It directly targets the increasing desire for smaller and smaller devices in wearable, portable, and handheld consumer goods, such as pet trackers on dog or cat collars, baby monitors, safety alarms inside necklace pendants, drones, and many more applications in the industrial, scientific, and medical sectors.

Ceramic antennas are resistant to detuning from nearby materials so that Silvai can be worn on the body. It is an excellent choice for many wearable devices on the market today and is an excellent addition to Antenova’s ISM product portfolio which includes a selection of flexible printed circuits with cable connectors and long-range antennas.
