Introduction to X2Y® Capacitors

In this tutorial, the X2Y capacitor structure will be explained and compared to ordinary 2-terminal MLCCs. Several subjects will be highlighted including the structural benefits of X2Y capacitors that work to provide superior, low ESL decoupling performance, and balanced EMI Filtering when these devices are applied in a circuit.
