The Toshiba 1.6 kW LLC resonant AC/DC converter for server designs reduces power consumption in data centers

Image of 1.6 kW LLC Resonant AC/DC ConverterToshiba has developed a variety of semiconductors to support applications like AC-DC converters for 48 V servers. This design is equipped with the latest-generation Toshiba MOSFETs and SiC diodes, and delivers 54.5 VDC with high efficiency from 100 V to 200 VAC input.

Also featured is an Arm® Cortex®-M3 MCU, which can be used as a 3-phase signal generator for MOSFET gates. This solution offers titanium-class high efficiency at VIN=230 V, in a small form factor.
