Orion’s affordable monitoring system for AC/DC fans and blowers
Orion Fans AFM series is a cost-effective airflow monitoring system that provides a simple alternative for indicating airflow in AC or DC fan/blower applications. The AFM module can operate an optical LED or audible-alarm when airflow falls below 8.2 ft/s due to fan filter clogs or interference with the fan blade.
Field retrofittable for AC and DC fan/blower applications, the AFM airflow sensor installs perpendicular to the front or intake side of the fan and mounts via clip or clamp to any grill. With a long-operating-life of more than 100,000 cycles, the AFM module is IP20-rated and NEMA 1 certified. The small-size AFM sensor is only 34 mm x 17.5 mm x 7.5 mm with an operating temperature range of -20°C to 50°C.
