Image of Jinlong's Low Current Vibration Motor Series Vybronics' low current/low power consumption vibration motor series have a higher than normal load resistance that ensures the lowest possible current consumption needed for devices with limited battery capacity or extended battery life requirements. Of particular note is the VZ4TL2B0620044P cylindrical motor which draws a remarkably low 9 mA at 3 VDC and produces vibration force for 0.75 GRMS. The VCLP1020B002L coin motor generates 0.75 GRMS at 30 mA (max) / 3 VDC. Even lower power consumption can be achieved by driving these vibration motors at a lower voltage; however, this comes at the expense of lower motor speed and vibration force. Usability studies should be done to determine the minimum G force required for the application and, thus, the minimum motor drive level requirements. Custom lead lengths are available.
