Lithium-ion batteries can be found in nearly every portable electronic device and are growing in popularity for electric vehicles, military and aerospace applications. ADI’s Li-On Battery Formation and Testing signal chain solutions provide a low cost, smaller size, environmentally friendly system for formation and testing rechargeable battery cells and packs. The charging energy is provided via a PWM controller, while the discharging energy can be directed to change other cells or sent back to the grid, minimizing its energy usage.
