The op amp with low harmonic distortion of -120 dB which is perfect for a wide dynamic range necessary for precision applications. The excellent slew rate of 20 V / µs and 110 MHz gain is needed for ultrasound applications, such as sonar and seismic uses. The device comes in either an 8-PDP or 8-SOIC package with a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The AD797 is ideal for precision pre-amplification found in spectrum analyzers, seismic detectors, and ADC and DAC buffer applications.
