LMR® Cable Tools

Amphenol Times Microwave designs rugged, simple to use termination tools for LMR cables. The process starts with a clean square cut using the CCT-03 cutting tool that doesn’t burr or bend the center conductor. Next, the CST prep tool is used to expose the center conductor and the braid wires to exacting lengths without altering the diameter of the core in any way or nicking the braid wires. Finally, the ferrule must be crimped with the proper size die. Times Microwave offers a large set of crimping tools ranging from economically priced tools for small jobs to very rugged ratcheting crimp handles with insertable hardened dies for all LMR cable sizes. These tools make the termination process so easy you can do it blindfolded!
