Amphenol's eSATA provides high durability and high speed for up to 3 Gbs data rates and connections for PCs and external storage drives. At a higher data rate than a USB, the eSATA comes in a variety of combinations and stack configurations, while remaining compliant with Serial ATA specifications.

Amphenol’s Mini-SAS connector system provides double the port density of current Mini-SAS connectors with 1 x 1 (4x), 1 x 2 (8x), and 1 x 4 (16x) port options. The Mini-SAS HD connector system has a two-row, right-angle connector with 12 Gbps of data rate per channel. Each connector (port) handles 4 lanes of data rate for up to 48 Gbps of total bandwidth.
Amphenol's high-speed Board-to-Board connectors provide high contact force reliability ensuring strong connectivity, forced insertions and removals. Design flexibility enables 13 types of stack heights with 20- to 200-position options available for high-density applications.
Amphenol's Ultraport SlimSAS series is a complete solution that addresses various issues in next generation storage devices. This series has a friendly ribbon cable design that supports blade and mainstream servers. These high-speed connectors are internal, 0.6 mm, 22.5 Gbps/lane solutions that consume the same area as the MiniSAS HD 4x and are adopted for next generation SAS-4.
Amphenol’s Ultraport SFP/SFP+ interconnect system is comprised of a 20-position hot-swappable I/O connector enclosed in a metal cage mounted to a host PCB. It supports 32 Gbps applications with backwards compatibility for next generation Ethernet Fiber Channel applications.
Amphenol’s Ultraport™ QSFP/QSFP+ interconnect system is built for high-speed serial applications. Each port offers 4 channels to increase port density contributing to more board space and immense cost savings. High-speed serial interconnect applications include clusters, servers and storage devices.
Amphenol’s CFP2/CFP4 (surface-mount receptacle connectors) are 0.6mm pitch. The CFP2 has 104 positions and the CFP4 has 56 positions. They are rated 28Gbps per channel with resonance dampening for improved signal integrity. Both have a plug connector on the mating surface to improve accuracy and aid in achieving high-speed performance.
Amphenol’s Expressport SFP/SFP+ connector and cage solution provides data transfer speeds up to 16 Gpbs and EMI shielding available in metal spring fingers or elastomeric gaskets. The solution minimizes impedance and reflections at high data rates resulting in a 10-20 dB improvement in near-end crosstalk. The 2xN connector and cage solution consists of an integrated stacked connector system and cage with compliant press-fit pins.
QSFP/QSFP+: Amphenol’s Expressport QSFP/QSFP+ connector system is comprised of a 38 position 0.8 mm pitch SMT connector and press fit cage designed to comply with the Quad Small Form-Factor Pluggable (QSFP) transceiver. The QSFP+ stacked solution consists of a 2-row, 38 position, 0.8 mm pitch connector with data rates up to 16 Gbps per channel (4 channels).
Amphenol’s CoolPower®D-sub connectors offer the familiar shape and functionality of a combination D-subminature connector with high current, high performance Amphenol CoolBand contact technology. The LCC17 series utilizes the same front shells, rear shells and mounting features found on standard D-sub connectors making them fully interchangeable allowing users to upgrade to a higher performance without a costly re-design.
Amphenol's Micro/Mini Power series provide polarized housing/receptacles preventing accidental mis-mating. Their terminals are fully isolated and have a contact area plating offered in tin and gold. The Micro/Mini Power series' design flexibility offers circuit sizes 2 to 24.
Amphenol's 858 series high-density shielded I/O connectors with ribbon contacts (0.5 pitch) provide a reliable connection and EMI / ESD protection. These connectors have excellent electrical performance in high data rate, low voltage, and differential signal transmission applications.
Amphenol’s High Performance Modular Jacks meets CAT5e and CAT6 performance per EIA-568-C.2. It supports Gigabit Ethernet Protocols and 10G Ethernet over lengths up to 50 M with shielding available for increased EMI performance.
Amphenol's RJMG series offers a wide variety of fully RoHS-compliant magnetic modular jacks for RJ45. The right angle, through-hole type is offered in both single-port and multi-port (1 x 2, 1 x 4, and 2 x 2 configurations) with options of tab-up and tab-down. These connectors have a wide variety of LED options and are appropriate for fast (10/100 base-t) and gigabit Ethernet applications.
Amphenol’s SuperSpeed USB 10 Gbps (USB 3.1) specification adds a 10 Gbps speed mode that uses a more efficient data encoding and will deliver more than twice the effective data through-put performance of existing SuperSpeed USBs. The specification extends the existing SuperSpeed mechanical, electrical, protocol, and hub definition while maintaining compatibility with existing USB 3.0 software stacks and device class protocols, as well as with existing 5 Gbps hubs and devices and USB 2.0 products.
