The MPS MIE05W0505BGYE isolated, regulated DC/DC module supports 3 V to 5.5 V input voltage (V_IN) applications. With excellent load and line regulation, it supports up to 0.5 W of output power (P_OUT). The MIE05W0505BGYE integrates power MOSFETs, a transformer, and a feedback (FB) circuit all-in-one chip, achieving excellent performance and saving size.

The MIE05W0505BGYE supports a regulated output voltage (V_OUT). When V_OUT drops below the target voltage (3.3 V or 5 V), the IC begins switching, delivering power from the V_IN pin to the V_OUT pin until V_OUT reaches the target voltage again.

The MIE05W0505BGYE also integrates a V_OUT feedback block, which can regulate V_OUT without needing a traditional optocoupler and a precision configurable reference IC. This small solution provides high reliability compared to traditional isolated power modules. Full protection features include short-circuit protection (SCP) and overtemperature protection (OTP).
