MAX14913 Octal High-Speed, High-Side Switch and Push-Pull Driver

Maxim’s MAX14913AKN+ has eight 640 mA smart high-side switches that can also be configured as push-pull drivers for high-speed switching. The propagation delay from input to switching of the high-side / low-side drivers is 1 µs (maximum). Each high-side driver has a low on-resistance of 230 mΩ (maximum) at 500 mA load current at TA = 125°C.
The device is configured and controlled either through pins or the serial peripheral interface (SPI) interface. The SPI is daisy-chainable, which allows efficient cascading of multiple devices. The SPI also supports command mode for the highest detailed diagnostic information.
The MAX14913AKN+ is available in a 56-pin QFN 8 mm x 8 mm package.
An evaluation kit provides a proven design to evaluate the MAX14913 octal digital output driver. The EV kit includes an evaluation board and a graphical user interface (GUI) that provides communication from a PC to the target device through a USB port.
The EV kit includes Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10 compatible software for exercising the features of the IC. The EV kit must be powered from an external +24 V power supply and can consume up to 10 A when fully loaded.
