linear analog temp
In the past, an NTC thermistor was used to sense the temperature inside power modules. External components were added to create a circuit that could condition the signal into a usable voltage. The temperature could then be calculated using the logarithmic equation that described the NTC characteristics. Version 6 DIPIPM features a linear analog temperature feedback signal which is trimmed for both accuracy and linearity. No external components or circuits are required to condition the output signal. It may be connected directly to an analog-to-digital converter or comparator.
