CG5321 is single chip solution for Power Line Communications (PLC). PLC reduces or avoids costly installation of new wires by leveraging the ubiquitous power lines. CG5321 has high coverage and throughput, support a large number of nodes, and has the capability to relay over multiple hops. It supports secure networking using AES 128-bit encryption and 802.1x authentication protocol. CG5321 also supports device level quality of service (QoS) to prioritize network traffic. Both IPv6 an IPv4 are supported. SDK and API can be provided for embedded solution development. Remote or local management permits FW upgrade, performance monitoring and diagnosis. The CG5321 meets industrial operation needs and supports -40°C to +85°C ambient temperature range.
