Keystone presents their ultra-low-profile retainers for 20 millimeter coin cell batteries. These economical and reliable battery retainers are designed with leading edge technology to accommodate all major manufacturers' 20 millimeter batteries. They are available in through-hole and surface-mount versions, and are specifically designed for electronic applications with limited board space. Other features include: being compatible with all wave and reflow operations; being compatible with most vacuum and mechanical pick-and-place assembly systems; and, having solder tails located outside of retainer body, which facilitates visual inspection of the solder joints. The tin-nickel plated design is ideal for lead-free, high-temperature soldering applications. Applications include memory back-up, stand-by applications, interconnected components, electronic hardware, and more.
