Power Supplies - Board Mount
Board mount power supplies are compact, PCB integrated power conversion modules that deliver regulated, conditioned output power directly on a circuit board. Choosing a board mount supply maximizes PCB real estate, minimizes external cabling, and enhances thermal coupling. These modules are widely used in embedded systems, industrial controls, communications, medical instrumentation, and distributed power architectures.
Types of Board Mount Power Supplies
- AC DC Converters - Transforming mains voltage (120-240 VAC) into regulated DC (5-48 VDC), often with isolation for safety and EMI filtering for compliance.
- DC DC Converters - Step raw DC (12V, 24V) to isolated or non-isolated outputs with high-density switching, tight regulation, and high efficiencies.
