VOM452T and VOM453T Optocouplers

Vishay's high-ppeed, 1-MBd analog optocouplers in the compact SOP-5 package

Semiconductor/Opto Division's VOM452T and VOM453T Optocouplers Vishay Semiconductor's VOM452T and VOM453T series high-speed optocouplers feature GaAlAs infrared emitting diodes that are optically coupled with integrated photo detectors and high-speed transistors. The photo detectors are junction isolated from the transistors to reduce miller capacitance effects. Open collector output function allows circuit designers to adjust the load conditions when interfacing with different logic systems such as TTL and CMOS.

The VOM452T and VOM453T have Faraday shields on the detector chips, and therefore, they can reject and minimize high input to output common mode transient voltages. There is no base connection, further reducing the potential electrical noise entering the package.
