MIC24045

MIC24045

The MIC24045 is an I2C-programmable, high-efficiency, wide input range, 5 A synchronous step-down regulator. The MIC24045 is perfectly suited for multiple voltage rail application environments, typically found in computing and telecommunication systems. In the MIC24045 various parameters can be programmed via I2C, such as output voltage, switching frequency, soft-start slope, margining, current limit values and start-up delays. The wide switching frequency adjustment range, valley-current mode control technique, high-performance error amplifier, and external compensation allow for the best trade-offs between high efficiency and the smallest possible solution size.

The MIC24045 supports extensive diagnostics and status information through I2C. The MIC24045 pin-out is compatible with the MIC24046 pin-strapping programmable regulator pin-out, such that I2C-based implementations can be easily converted into pin-programmable ones. The MIC24045 is available in thermally-efficient, space-saving 20-pin 3 mm x 3 mm FQFN package with an operating junction temperature range from -40°C to +125°C.

MIC2127A

MIC2127A

The MIC2127A is a constant-frequency synchronous buck controllers featuring a unique adaptive ON-time control architecture. The MIC2127A operates over an input voltage range from 4.5 V to 75 V and can be used to supply load current up to 25 A (Thermally Limited). The output voltage is adjustable down to 0.6 V with a guaranteed accuracy of ±1%. The device operates with programmable switching frequency from 200 kHz to 800 kHz.

The MIC2127A offers a full suite of protection features to ensure protection of the IC during fault conditions. These include under voltage lockout to ensure proper operation under power-sag conditions, Internal Soft Start, "hiccup" mode short-circuit protection, and thermal shutdown.

MIC4609

MIC4609

The MIC4609 is a 600 V three phase MOSFET or IGBT driver. The MIC4609 features a 300ns typical input filtering time to prevent unwanted pulses and a 550 ns of propagation delay. The MIC4609 has TTL input thresholds.

The robust operation of the MIC4609 ensures that the outputs are not affected by supply glitches, HS ringing below ground, or HS slewing with high-speed voltage transitions. Under-voltage protection is provided on both the low-side and high-side drivers.

The MIC4609 is available in an 28-pin wide SOIC package. The MIC4609 has an operating junction temperature range of –40°C to +125°C.

MIC4606

MIC4606

The MIC4606 is an 85 V full-bridge MOSFET driver that features adaptive dead time and shoot-through protection. The adaptive dead time circuitry actively monitors both sides of the full-bridge to minimize the time between high-side and low-side MOSFET transitions, thus maximizing power efficiency. Antishoot-through circuitry prevents erroneous inputs and noise from turning both MOSFETs of each side of the bridge on at the same time.

The MIC4606 also offers a wide 5.5 V to 16 V operating supply range to maximize system efficiency. The low 5.5 V operating voltage allows longer run times in battery-powered applications. Additionally, the MIC4606's adjustable gate drive sets the gate drive voltage to VDD for optimal MOSFET RDS(ON), which minimizes power loss due to the MOSFET's RDS(ON).

The MC4606-1 features four independent inputs while the MIC4606-2 utilizes two PWM inputs, one for each side of the H-bridge. The MIC4606-1 and MIC4606-2 are available in a 16-pin 4 mm x 4 mm QFN package with an operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.
